Yandex seeks an experienced English Copywriting Editor to review, proofread, and revise copywriting materials for our clients. Apply if you have at least 2 years of experience as an editor in IT and tech

Tasks that await you

Review and revise content to ensure accuracy and quality, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax
Ability to rewrite copy from scratch when necessary
Work closely with the copywriting team to address questions and ensure work is submitted on time
Knowledge of Associated Press and Chicago Style
Ensure correct tone, voice, clarity, flow, and content structure
Ensure that content adheres to the in-house style guide
Write blurbs, ledes, headlines, and straplines
Compile and update style guides as required
Manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines

We expect that you

2-3 years of experience as an editor in IT and tech
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail
Native-level English
Fluent in Russian
Experience writing and editing copy for various formats and communication channels
Proven creative, technical, and scientific aptitude
Responsible, collaborative, and self-motivated

It’d be a plus if you

Experience working in an agency or startup environment
Experience in copywriting and content marketing in IT and tech
A portfolio that showcases copywriting capabilities
